Visa issues – TEMPLATE for the partners in your EMJM(D) consortium

Dear partners, We are facing each year major visa issues for our students. Within this context, the European Commission informed us that we have:

“the possibility to launch a complaint if you observe that an EU Member State does not comply with the EU Directive 2016/801 on the conditions of entry and residence of third-country nationals for the purposes of research, studies, training, voluntary service, pupil exchange schemes or educational projects and au pairing (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/dir/2016/801/oj).”

The EMACT (Erasmus Mundus Association for Consortia CooperaTion) is gathering general and individual cases to build a collective case. We would be grateful if, as partner in the programme, you could report individual cases or recurrent problems in relation to a country, consulate or embassy.

You can use this link (reserved to consortia members)https://framaforms.org/emact-building-a-collective-case-to-solve-visa-issues-consortium-form-1712840245

Note that if you have to fill a new for each case (whether general or individual) you want to report.  We will also send another link for the individual cases to the students and alumni.

Sincerely,
PS: of course, you can also fill a complaint on the European Commission’s form (here).
