On May 3, the Faculty of Human Kinetics at the University of Lisbon hosted a blended information seminar for the Erasmus Mundus joint master program “Resilience in Educational Contexts” under Project Flourish. The event, which included both in-person and online participants, counted with the participation of 64 attendees.
Coordinators from each EMJM full partner joined online to present the program and its specific features in each of the semesters: Prof. Carmel Cefai from the University of Malta, Prof. Anastassios Matsopoulos from the University of Crete, Prof. Adina Colomeischi from the University Stefan cel Mare Suceava, and Prof. Celeste Simões, Prof. Paula Lebre, Prof. Carolina Carvalho and Prof. Ana Sofia Pinho from the University of Lisbon. Additionally, two students from the program’s inaugural edition, Farhana Yesmin and Gift Onyinyechi Oparah, shared their valuable experiences. A highlight of the seminar was a compelling conference by Professor Marcia Melo titled “Co-construção de Programas Escolares junto a Populações Vulneráveis em Território Brasileiro,” focusing on the collaborative development of educational programs for vulnerable populations in Brazil. The seminar provided valuable insights and fostered discussions on enhancing educational resilience.
