On May 23, 2024, an information seminar was held at the University of Crete (UoC) in Greece to introduce the FLOURISH Masters program, featuring also a keynote speech by the esteemed Canadian Professor Michael Ungar on ‘Diagnosing>> Resilience: Seeing the Positives in Young People Even When There Are Serious Problems’. The seminar also gave details on the partner universities involved and the various opportunities the program offers. This event was organized by the coordinating committee of the UoC to maximize outreach and engagement among students and faculty. A livestream option allowed participants from across Greece and beyond to join in. Approximately 50 participants attended the seminar in person, while over 100 tuned in via livestream.The event garnered attention from local media, with press releases distributed to newspapers and television stations.
