Οn Tuesday November 4, 2025, the University of Crete organised an information Seminar for FLOURISH Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters: Resilience in Educational Contexts. UoC made an open call to the whole academic community to come to attend the seminar.
In this seminar the Director of FLOURISH for UOC Prof. Tassos Matsopoulos presented the basic rationale of the program, details about applications and program of studies of FLOURISH. In this seminar, students were informed that there is still time until December 15th to apply in the innovative Joint European Masters Degree.
In the presentation Prof Matsopoulos was joined by Prof. Petruta Russo from San Stefan Cel University at Suceava, Romania. She presented the type of work the Romanian FLOURISH team is working on and how the internships are shaping up for this cohort. She spoke about the benefits student get from this global Masters in terms of them being taught by so many different (and of different nationality) professors and how the climate in the group is very supportive. At the end, the students asked questions about the practical issues of mobility between universities, asked about the tuition should one goes without scholarship. The students appeared to be excited to learn that such a program is taking place on their campus (every Spring Semester) and they mentioned that they will take this under consideration when pursuing graduate studies.
