Stefan cel Mare University of Suceava (USV) in Romania organized the FLOURISH Winter School from the 2nd to the 7th December, 2024, in the picturesque Dorna Valley, focusing on personal and professional development.
Designed for students in the EMJM Resilience in Educational Contexts master’s program, funded by ERASMUS MUNDUS. Experts in education and mental health led discussions on resilience, inclusion, and burnout prevention.
Key Activities Participants took part in workshops on trauma psychology, resilience through art, and burnout prevention. The students had hands-on sessions at Ion Luca Theoretical High School and Gymnasium School No. 10 on inclusive education.
The students also had the opportunity for cultural visits to Panaci schools, Călimani National Park, and UNESCO heritage sites in Bucovina.
The event featured specialists from top universities, educational institutions, and international organizations, ensuring a rich learning experience. It welcomed students from 15 countries, fostering cultural exchange and global perspectives on education. Through this initiative, USV reinforced its commitment to international collaboration and innovation in resilience education.
